Cute, but a little special | HARUMEKI's philosophy of Japanese modern design
HARUMEKI's Japanese goods designs incorporate:
It's not about "preserving tradition" or "imitating,"
Our desire is to be "close to modern lifestyles."
Brocade was originally a fabric used for formal occasions and special clothing.
Rather than simply incorporating that glamour,
By using soft colors and simple shapes,
It is designed to blend naturally into everyday life.
For example, a small pouch that gently shines inside your bag.
The moment I take it out, I feel a little better.
Delivering these "small joys" is the origin of HARUMEKI's designs.
"Cute, but a little special"
It's not something special to stand out,
"Specialty that gently supports your individuality."
We aim to create products that will soothe your heart, whether you give them to someone or use them yourself.
Each pattern has a name and a story.
Names expressed in two or three kanji characters, such as "Tomo" (Light), "Yui" (Miyabi) and "Miyabi" (Elegant),
"Another face of design" that expresses the worldview of the fabric in words.

HARUMEKI's designs bring quiet joy to those who see them.
It's not flashy, but it's high quality and warm.
That is what we consider to be the "cuteness of Japanese modern style."
