We sell and ship our products within Japan, the United States, Canada, and Australia. Applicable laws and terms may differ depending on the country of order.

Article 1 – Scope of Application

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to all customers (“Customers”) who use the HARUMEKI Official Online Store operated by MOCHIAJI LLC (“the Company”), or who purchase our products via telephone. These Terms also apply to Internet Members, Newsletter Members, and LINE Members as defined below. By ordering or purchasing products through our store or by phone, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 2 – Changes to the Terms

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms without prior notice to Customers. Any modifications will be announced by posting on the HARUMEKI Official Online Store, via email, or by other means deemed appropriate by the Company. Continued use of our services after such notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Article 3 – Service Provision, Modification, Suspension

The Company may, without prior notice, modify, add, or discontinue all or part of the services or content offered (including but not limited to products, prices, discounts, and point services). Such changes will be announced through the store website, email, or other appropriate means. Additionally, the Company may temporarily suspend or stop services for system maintenance or other necessary reasons without prior notice. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by Customers due to such suspension or inability to access services.

Article 4 – Internet Members

Customers who register using the Company’s prescribed method shall be recognized as “Internet Members.” Members must register their name and other necessary information and promptly notify the Company of any changes. If a Member violates these Terms, has previously violated them, or is deemed inappropriate for membership, the Company may cancel their registration without disclosing the reason.

Article 5 – Newsletter Members

Customers who register via the Company’s prescribed method to receive newsletters shall be recognized as “Newsletter Members.” They must register their email address and promptly notify the Company of any changes.

Article 6 – LINE Members

Customers who register through the Company’s prescribed method to follow our LINE account shall be recognized as “LINE Members.” They must register their LINE account and promptly notify the Company of any changes.

Article 7 – Responsibility for ID and Password Management

All Members (Internet, Newsletter, LINE, etc.) are solely responsible for managing their Customer ID and password. They must not share, transfer, lend, sell, or pledge them to any third party. If a password is lost, compromised, or suspected of unauthorized use, Members must immediately notify the Company and follow its instructions.

Article 8 – Product Purchases

Customers may purchase products via the HARUMEKI Official Online Store following the method designated by the Company. A purchase contract shall be deemed concluded when: (1) The Company sends an email confirming acceptance of the order, or (2) The Company’s operator verbally confirms the order by telephone. Deliveries are limited to Japan, the United States, Canada, and Australia. Orders to forwarding services or third-party addresses outside these countries are not accepted.

Article 9 – Prohibited Acts

Customers must not engage in any of the following actions: (1) Use of the Store or services beyond their intended purpose, (2) Conduct that causes inconvenience or harm to others, (3) Actions that interfere with the Company’s business operations, (4) Infringement or potential infringement of intellectual property, privacy, or other rights, (5) Submitting false information during registration, (6) Placing fraudulent orders or using another person’s ID, (7) Reselling or listing Company products for profit (including auction sites), (8) Unauthorized credit card use, (9) Unauthorized use of another person’s personal data, (10) Transmitting harmful computer programs or emails, (11) Unauthorized access to Company servers or systems, (12) Any other act deemed inappropriate by the Company.

Article 10 – Transactions

The Company may, without prior notice, restrict, suspend, or cancel transactions, membership ranks, or points if any of the following apply: (1) Violation of prohibited acts under Article 9, (2) Payment failure for credit card transactions, (3) Unauthorized use of another Customer’s ID or password, (4) Inability to contact the Customer by registered communication methods, (5) Failure to respond to inquiries regarding the order, (6) Orders suspected to be for resale, auction, or other commercial purposes, (7) Orders exceeding normal quantities for personal use without explanation, (8) Orders requesting delivery outside of Japan, the U.S., Canada, or Australia, (9) Repeated returns or exchanges making normal transactions difficult, (10) Fraudulent acquisition or use of points, (11) Violation of these Terms or shopping guidelines, (12) Orders by minors without parental consent, (13) Any other case deemed inappropriate by the Company. The Company may withhold shipment until any issue is resolved. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from such measures.

Article 11 – Returns and Exchanges

If the delivered product is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 8 days of receipt. We will replace it with a new item at our expense for return shipping. Returns or exchanges for personal reasons (e.g., change of mind) are accepted only for unused items, and return shipping costs are borne by the Customer. Cash-on-delivery (collect-on-return) shipments will not be accepted. We cannot accept returns or exchanges in the following cases: (1) Products that have been used, (2) Products damaged or soiled by the Customer, (3) Products returned after 9 or more days from delivery. For defective items, we will cover return shipping costs. For returns due to personal reasons, only the product price will be refunded.

Article 12 – Resale and Secondary Market Sales

The resale or listing of products handled by the HARUMEKI Official Online Store on auction or other external sites for profit is strictly prohibited. The Company does not guarantee the quality, authenticity, or after-sales service of any items purchased from unauthorized resellers or auction listings.

Article 13 – Copyright and Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights and copyrights owned or licensed by the Company may not be used without permission. Any opinions, feedback, or content submitted by Customers to the Company may be used for marketing, publication, or display on the HARUMEKI Official Online Store.

Article 14 – Handling of Personal Information

The Company will appropriately handle Customers’ personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and relevant laws.

Article 15 – Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.

Article 16 – Jurisdiction

In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with the HARUMEKI Official Online Store or related services, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith discussions. If no resolution can be reached, both the Customer and the Company agree that the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
