HARUMEKI has chosen "Tosa Washi" from Kochi Prefecture, one of Japan's three major types of washi paper, for its packaging. Thin, durable, and with a unique soft texture, washi paper has long been used to wrap important items.

The "Kinran" fabric we handle is also a traditional craft with a long history. For HARUMEKI, which upcycles elegant vintage brocade, such as that used for Hina doll costumes, into "Japanese goods" that fit into modern lifestyles, Tosa Washi is the perfect partner.
